The Register of Arbitrators of the Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration will be opened on February 21, 2025. In addition, the arbitrators listed in the "Shenzhen International Arbitration Court Arbitrator's List" will also be included in the recommend list of arbitrators of the South China (Hong Kong) International Arbitration Court (SCIAHK) established in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of China. Appointed by the International Arbitration Court, it can handle arbitration cases agreed to "South China (Hong Kong) International Arbitration Court.
This selection is the high recognition and affirmation of the Shenzhen International Arbitration Court for the professional ability of Shengdian lawyers. Shenzhen International Arbitration Court (also known as "South China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission", formerly known as "China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission Shenzhen Branch", "China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission South China Branch", English abbreviation SCIA) was established in 1983 and is China's reform and opening up The first arbitration institution established in various provinces and cities after the opening up is also the first arbitration institution in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao. SCIA pioneered the hiring of overseas arbitrators in 1984. In 1989, it set a precedent for Chinese arbitral awards to be recognized and enforced abroad in accordance with the Convention on the Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Arbitral Awards (the new york Convention).
