On February 22, the first general meeting of the Medical Ethics Committee of Shenzhen Medical Doctor Association and the first Pengcheng Medical Ethics academic Forum in 2025 were solemnly held in Shenzhen Children's Hospital. This conference attracted many experts and scholars in the field of medical ethics to gather in Pengcheng to discuss the frontier issues of medical ethics, share the latest research results, and share the academic feast.



This conference elected 1 chairman, 15 deputy directors, 36 executive directors, and 89 directors. Lawyer Guo Chaohui was elected as an executive director and deputy chairman, and was the only deputy chairman with the status of a lawyer. In the course of his practice, lawyer Guo Chaohui has come into contact with cases involving medical ethics, such as gene editing babies of AIDS patients, and has conducted research on law, medicine, ethics and other related subjects on cases involving medical ethics. He has a certain degree of familiarity and sensitivity in this field.
 

The Shenzhen Medical Doctor Association was established in 2012. Under the leadership of the Shenzhen Municipal Health Commission and the Social Organization Administration, it adheres to the tenet of "service, coordination, self-discipline, rights protection, supervision, and management", and focuses on ensuring the qualifications of doctors and improving doctors. The core tasks of quality and safeguarding the rights and interests of doctors are to carry out lifelong education for doctors, strive to improve the level of medical services, and promote the professional ethics of morality, give full play to the role of social organizations as a bridge. Since its establishment, the Shenzhen Medical Association has more than 60000 members and has a high influence in the Shenzhen health industry.
